Responsibility

Protecting our environment presents mankind with an enormous challenge. The implications are clear. We must all do our part to reverse the effects of detrimental ecological change. Environmental responsibility will require the involvement of the public, private and academia sectors to ensure a bright future for mankind. Environmental responsibility will create new jobs, greater stability in our economic and international relations, and a safe planet for all living creatures that are potentially at risk today.

Changes in farming practices could significantly reduce the deposits of nitrogen found in fertilizers, thus reducing damage to the world’s ecosystems. The use of renewable energies would reduce reliance on fossil fuels used for the generation of energy thereby reducing carbon emissions. Increased energy efficiencies in industries and homes will lower the amount of required energy generation thereby lowering operating costs and emitted pollution.

Environmental responsibility will reduce the risk of new and emerging damage to the world’s sensitive estuaries and forests creating a better world for our children.
